Summer is getting closer by each week. The hotter the temperature gets, the less we are able to comfortably wear. But is there a point where less can be too little?
Lately many middle and high schoolers have been wearing very little clothing around school. It seems that there isn't anyone enforcing the dress code. Girls wear very short booty shorts and guys continue to have their pants sagging so their underwear shows. Maybe it’s time for the dress code to be re-established throughout the district.

I for one am tired of having to worry about someone's gluteus maximus hanging out in my face as I walk up stairs. It is understandable that some people want to raise their self-esteem through their fashion choices, and a little short of a shirt or shorts makes one feel confident, but one's butt cheeks should not be hanging out of their shorts, even if it makes you feel like the most confident teen in the school.
Some people may not be aware of what the dress code rules are. Well, they are the following, so read closely:
"Student dress which is distracting to the educational process is not permitted,
including, but not limited to:
Low-cut tops/dresses, spaghetti-strap tops/dresses,
Exposed undergarments,
Short-shorts, and short skirts/dresses.
Exposed midsections, backs, cleavage, or deliberately bare shoulders.
All pants must remain at the waist with or without the use of a belt."
This should be reinforced by teachers especially in the middle school. You are children; cherish your innocence while you have it.
