Mashpee High School had its annual homecoming festivities last week which included spirit week, the homecoming football game, and the homecoming dance. On October 4th, students and fans braved the cold to support their team.
While the outcome of the game was not what the Falcons wanted, there was still a sense of community and excitement. Students, faculty, and parents alike were eager to watch the game and cheer on their team.
“I think it unifies us as a school and brings everyone together because everyone’s excited for the dance,” said MMHS junior Sydney Burke.
Administrators had the same outlook. Mr. MacDonald, dean of students, said, “The spirit and the pride that the kids have for their teammates and their school is outstanding.”
