This Wednesday, March 6, the Class of 2021 will be hosting Mashpee’s annual talent show. Starting at 6:30 in the auditorium, this year’s show offers twenty acts, with twenty-eight students participating across all grades.
The talent show provides a variety of acts each year, and that trend has swept into 2019’s event as well. This year, they range from singing, to guitar-playing, to even a combination of a few classic acts.

Seventh grader Marcus Clark plans to perform an original comedy dance routine. “I feel good when I do comedy because I like to have the audience entertained,” he said.
And for the winners? The Class of 2021, advised by Mrs. Depford, is offering up cash prizes to the three leading acts. Third place winners will receive $50, second place $75, and first place winners will receive the grand prize of $100.
But, as Clark explains, not all the acts are in it for the prize. “[Having the audience entertained] is more important to me than the money involved,” he states.
The Class of 2021 Talent Show will take place in the auditorium on March 6 from 6:30 to 7:30.
