Our high school graduation is June 4th 2016. Then we’re taking our first step as adults into the real world. Before we take these scary steps though, we still have one last summer. What is the class of ‘16 planning to do with their last summer? When I asked some of the seniors, I got a lot of different replies, but one thing the replies had in common was that they were all said with excitement.

Senior Miranda Davis, who is going to Johnson & Wales in the Fall, had a lot to say about her upcoming summer… “My summer plans are to spend every minute possible with my best friends when I’m not working. Checking off everything possible on the bucket list that we have made, because soon we will not be spending everyday together.”
Senior Freddy Bohnenberger, going to Mass Maritime in the Fall, says “I’m going to spend my summer playing lacross, going fishing, and planning more for college.”
Another fellow student, Ciara Oakley-Robbins who is going to University of New England told me “I’m going to spend time with my family/friends, and take lots of adventures and road trips. I’m also going to be working with my dad. Towards the end of the summer, I’m looking forward to buying all of my dorm furniture/decorations.” It’s safe to say that none of the seniors will waste their last summer of being “kids”.
