There were prizes for first, second and third place for one hundred, fifty, and twenty-five dollars, respectively. Tahj Bohun won first place performing a piano piece titled “Sonata in d minor,” an originally unfinished piece finished and changed by him. Brynne Santos took second place with another original piece titled “Trouble.”
Many performers stated that the crowd that showed to the performance was larger than they had expected, although most of it, they suspect, was parents. However, it is still a large contribution to the class of 2018, as all funds from ticket sales and the bake sale went towards them. This is also a large contribution towards the popularity of the arts department and the school culture as a whole.
